Meet the Creative: Emma Susan - Photographer

"I believe a creative life can have a beneficial and healing impact on health and wellbeing. Art can transform lives. Float share the same values and are working diligently to bring together a like-minded community of individuals."

Take one look at Emma Susan’s dreamy shots over on her Instagram page and you’ll wish that you could capture the beauty in the ordinary happenings of everyday life just like she does. From the ‘Night Sea’ to ‘Uplifting Spring’ her imagery is evocative, simple and moving, a welcome break from the highly filtered grids we have become accustomed to. The great thing is that much of life is about just giving things a go, stepping outside your comfort zone and saying yes to the opportunities that arise. What better way to bite the bullet then to give Emma’s introduction to Photography workshop at Float Festival a gander, you never know you might surprise yourself and be a complete pro by the end of the session. Want to know a bit more about the woman behind the camera, then look no further; introducing Emma Susan.

What is your company, what do you do and what makes it special?

I run workshops for anyone wanting to understand how to use a camera: fledgling creative’s with a desire to deepen their knowledge and develop their photo making skills.

The technical barriers to photography can be challenging. I support this process – we explore, we experiment, we play!
